Hedgewitch icaridin spray is a DEET free insect repellent effective against mosquitoes, midges, horse flies, sand flies, fleas and ticks. Suitable for use on children and sensitive skins.

Provides protection from biting insects such as mosquitoes, midges and  horse flies, as well as ticks and fleas. Perfect for a quick spritz before any summer outdoor activities e.g. walking, gardening fishing or for an evening BBQ to stop the biting midges. Or to take on your holidays to keep the mosquitoes away. 

Hedgewitch icaridin contains no added fragrances so you don’t have to smell like a perfumery to keep insects at bay. It works by confusing biting insect’s ability to accurately locate you so they aren’t able to land. Good coverage is important for the best protection from bites.

How it works - Icaridin is modelled on piperidin which occurs naturally in the black pepper plant. The way icaridin works really is magic, it makes you almost invisible to biting insects and even they may still buzz around but have trouble locating you accurately enough to land.

It contains Icaridin at 20%, judged to be as effective as 50% DEET by the World Health Organisation. It is one of just three products recommended for use in malarial regions and can help protect against other nasty diseases carried by insects.
