Our hedgewitch has selected gentle, high quality natural cleansers made from coconut (used in baby shampoos and Ecocert approved), which are low foaming and do not need to be rinsed off.
The gentle, pH- balanced formula restores the skin’s pH back to normal after sweating. To function properly, skin needs a slightly acidic environment but sweat is alkaline. When it’s pH is raised, even for a short amount of time, the delicate balance of the natural bacteria that live on the skin is upset, causing problems such as dry, flakey skin.
She has also added therapeutic grade lavender essential oil which is soothing to the skin, with natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Loved by horses it also has antispasmodic, relaxant and analgesic properties. Lavender is a useful oil to remedy tired, aching or sore muscles so is perfect for a wash after exercise.
